I need help at my small indoor heated storage unit assembling a 8 ft tall x 4 ft wide chrome metro style bookcase / shelving unit . It is the snap together kind with 1" metal poles & wire shelves that rest on plastic snap-on stoppers. I'll have a step stool & cart to move the box inside, if needed. It does not require great strength or tools, but assembly is much faster & easier if you have: 1) HEIGHT - THIS UNIT IS BIG. Someone 6ft tall with a wide reach will have a much easier time assembling than someone short since each shelf is 4ft long. I need someone tall. 2) Experience building one before. These are very popular in dorms, so some Sweepers probably have. But this isn't required. Because this unit is big it's a little awkward to maneuver the pieces, it will be easier to have 2 people at the very beginning to get the frame stable. I HAVE built several of these & will help get the person started & be the extra set of hands at the beginning, but then I want them to finish mostly on their own while I do other things in the unit. |
